Dernancourt Medical Centre approach to podiatry health beings with an examination of your foot problem as it relates to your overall health, physical condition and medical history. Michelle will evaluate your medical condition and examine your lower leg to determine issues contributing to your pain.
Conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, pregnancy and obesity may be the cause of your foot pain, or may be exacerbating an existing problem.
Michelle is experienced in recognizing when a non-invasive or minimally invasive procedure is needed to correct your foot problem.
With modern equipment and professionally sterilised instruments, your safety and effective treatment is her primary concern. General treatments when performed regularly provide maintenance of foot health, preventing pain and further complications.
Our Podiatrist can provide you with a unique treatment plan to solve your issues and prevent future complications.
Fees:
Michelle bulk bills under the Enhanced Primary Care Program and to Department of Veterans card holders. A valid referral from your general practitioner must be presented on your initial consultation.
Michelle provides services for most Private Health Funds through the HI-CAPS machine, Funds can be billed directly using the membership card. The gap needs to be paid on the day of the consult.
If you do not have a health fund Michelle charges a private fee of $65 , which is payable on the day.
