Dr Owen Lewis has been a rural GP for 45 years. In Mt Gambier, Maitland, Roxby Downs and Port Pirie.
He continues to help out doing locums, visiting the APY Lands and doing a clinic in Marree through RFDS.
He was in Nepal for 13 years and was the founding Professor of Family Medicine in Dharan.
